There are races drivers want to win because of the purse. There are races they want to win because of the points. Then there are races that carry a little more weight than that. For Mini Tyrrell, the Mini's Mission 125 falls firmly into the third category.

Tyrrell won the event last season after starting on the pole and holding off Connor Hall and Chad McCumbee in the closing laps. It was not just another CARS Tour win. It was his race, at his home track, in front of the families and supporters who have helped turn Mini's Mission into one of grassroots racing's most visible charitable efforts.
